Passed in channel to anonymous function. Range over channel instead of using infinite loop. Changed from a buffered channel with a capacity of 1 to to an unbuffered channel. Ran gofmt.

Added two new functions to support logging "on demand" via channels. LogOnCue and LogScaledOnCue accept a generic message channel (instead of a time.Duration) which triggers logging to the supplied logger.
